Can I exchange my tickets?

Sydney Theatre Company productions

Ticket exchanges are available for most STC productions, up to 2 hours before your performance. You can exchange your tickets to another date of the same production or to a different production, subject to availability and some conditions. In response to the COVID-19 health crisis, we have temporarily removed fees for ticket exchanges.

Can I get a refund on my tickets if I can't use them?

Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged after purchase except as outlined in our Terms and Conditions of Sale, the LPA Code or otherwise as required by the Australian Consumer Law and applicable state consumer laws.

Sydney Theatre Company productions

If you cannot use your tickets consider donating the value of your tickets back to STC. Donations support the wide range of Australian artists and theatre makers we employ to tell our stories each year and keep the theatre industry alive. All ticket donations of $2+ will receive a tax deductible receipt.

If you are unable to attend due to illness / COVID-19 related symptoms, you may exchange your tickets to another date of the same production or to a different production (subject to availability); donate the value of your ticket back to STC; receive a credit voucher; or request a refund. Contact STC Box Office on (02) 9250 1777.

If you have made a reservation at Walsh Bay Kitchen, you will need to contact them directly to cancel your reservation.

What should I do if I’m not feeling well ahead of the event?

Please don’t visit us if you feel unwell. Please err on the side of caution and contact us to arrange an alternative attendance date. Please call Box Office on (02) 9250 1999.

What safety procedures do you have in place?

Your safety is important to us. We have enhanced health and hygiene methods in place, based on NSW government guidelines and expert public health advice, to help keep our visitors and staff safe. For the latest information, check our Visitor Safety Information page.

Can I offer my ticket to someone else it I cannot use them?

Yes, but you need to advise our Box Office and provide contact details for the new ticketholders. As part of our COVIDSafe measures, we require contact details of everyone attending the theatre. 

If any tickets are concession tickets please be aware proof of concession is required, or a fee may be charged to upgrade to a full price ticket.

I've missed my performance, what can I do?

Unfortunately we cannot exchange tickets from a past show as they are no longer valid - if you have missed your show you will need to purchase another ticket to see the performance.

Is there violence/smoking/nudity/coarse language/heavy subject matter in the event I am about to see?

Please look to the event specific web pages for details. We post warnings outside the entrance to the auditorium about strobe lighting, smoke machines, very loud noise, gunfire and smoking. For the latest warnings and information, please call Box Office on (02) 9250 1999.

What concessions do you accept?

Please check the 'Dates and Prices' tab on the specific event page for detailed pricing. Concessions may be offered to Pensioners, full-time students, Seniors, unemployed and Under 30s (29 and under) at the discretion of the event promoter. The appropriate ID, concession or membership card must be provided at the time of booking we can keep these on file or, in the case of phone bookings, when collecting tickets and entering the theatre.

Concessions apply per person and valid proof of concession for EACH concession ticket booked must be shown at the time of collection.

I've lost my tickets, can you issue me duplicate tickets?

In most cases Roslyn Packer Theatre can issue a replacement Lost Ticket Voucher (promoter’s discretion) but we will ask you to confirm the basic details of the booking in order to do this, please contact us as soon as you realise you have mislaid your tickets on (02) 9250 1999 or visit the Box Office on the day of your show at least 45 minutes prior to the show going in.

Where the lost ticket is part of a group booking in one name - you will need to be able to provide the seat number if the tickets were not booked under individual names or provide relevant information to staff on the counter to help them locate your ticket.

The performance I have tickets for has been cancelled. What can I do?

You will be contacted by our Box Office with details specific to the event cancellation. Cancellation entitles you to a refund, further details are available in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

If you have booked through a third party agency (Ticketmaster, etc) please contact them directly about this as they will manage your return.

Do you handle Group bookings?

Please check the 'Dates and Prices' tab on the specific event page for Groups pricing and minimum group numbers. Please contact the Box Office by telephone to place a group order (02) 9250 1999.

I would like to supply feedback on the performance that I attended or the customer service I received, how do I do this?

You are very welcome to submit feedback to Roslyn Packer Theatre at anytime and we have a number of avenues for you to do so.
